Active EYES is a practical resource which helps Early Years Practitioners understand the need for observing children's developing eyesight and guiding parents/carers to take children for regular eye tests.
This spring 2023 there are 3 opportunities all taking place at Vista's Office 16 New Walk Leicester LE1 6TF

Events to support new and expectant parents
A series of events offering guidance and support to new and expectant parents is taking place across Leicestershire
The free sessions will take place this month in areas such as Wigston, Lutterworth, Hinckley, Loughborough, Market Harborough, Braunstone Town, Melton and Coalville.
Organised by Leicestershire County Council, they will feature activities to support babies' brain development and explore play ideas such as singing, reading and relaxing together.

Solihull FREE training courses
A range of free online parenting courses are now available for all residents of Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland (LLR). The Solihull Approach courses cover concerns that parents often face with children, from before they are born to early adulthood, including physical and mental health, understanding their feelings and how to build better relationships.
The course are available in 108 languages, with voiceovers in English and Urdu. Each course has a number of different components, and they can be accessed at any time and any place.
