Breakfast Ideas

Drinks

  • Milk.
  • Water.
  • Dilute pure unsweetened fruit juice (one part fruit juice: ten parts water).

Meal choices

  • Toasted muffin and hard-boiled egg.
  • Cheese wedges with toast.
  • Toasted crumpet and banana
  • Toast with baked beans.
  • Offer a variety of bread products such as: muffin/crumpet/scotch pancake. different types of bread/toast/rolls/bagel/
  • Low-sugar cereal e.g. Weetabix, porridge, cornflakes, puffed wheat.
  • Porridge/Ready Break with tinned fruit or dried fruit.
  • Yoghurts and fruit can also be available.

  • Shepherd's pie with carrots/vegetables in season.
